All the logistical planning and checking paid off!
We have spent the past four weeks planning and working on the 3 day event we were hosting for the Smart Villages Initiative at Cambridge University.
Having organised international travel for guests from 5 continents, airport transfers, accommodation, venues, and refreshments along with delegate packs, keynote speakers and dinners, we were thrilled to receive positive feedback from all delegates at last weeks 3 day event.
Day 1 – We hosted the International Workshop for the Smart Villages Initiative. An inspiring day of keynote speakers.
We had arranged a dinner at the stunning Trinity College, Cambridge, in The Old Kitchen, which was truly magnificent. Our after dinner speaker was the inspirational Professor Peter Nolan.
Day 2 -We facilitated the Advisory Board, followed by a superb dinner hosted by Professor Sir Brian Heap in the prestigious Saltmarsh Rooms at King’s College, Cambridge.
Day 3 – We supported the Team Meeting.
In addition to making all logistical arrangements, we also minuted both the Advisory Board and the Team Meeting, and compiled a memory stick of the workshop presentations for all delegates.
We have already posted a few photos of the event via flikr on our twitter page – @PatogSandy – please take a look.
